The Representative of the Independents Bloc, Hussein Al-Sabri, announced, on Wednesday, the readiness of the independent deputies to put forward a new initiative regarding the political impasse in the country.
Al-Sabri said in an interview seen by "The Information", "The independents in the House of Representatives are arranging their ranks and collecting their papers in order to be part of the solution and a new initiative that we are working on to mature."
He added, "The coordination framework initiative has been proposed in the past, and we, as independents, are trying to propose something new in order to come up with mature solutions that contribute to calming situations, conflicts and political tensions between the blocs."
Al-Sabri stressed, "The priority in the initiative of the independents will be to preserve the interests of the Iraqi people before any other interest, just as we, as independents, do not want to be just a number, but we want the crisis to find an appropriate solution." finished/25
