Kurdistan Islamic Union of Maliki: The problems between Baghdad and Erbil require a quick solution
Shafaq News/ The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salah al-Din Muhammad Bahaa al-Din, stressed on Monday that the problems between the central and regional governments require a quick solution.
This came during a meeting of a high-level delegation from the Kurdistan Islamic Union led by Salah al-Din Muhammad Baha al-Din with the head of the State of Law coalition Nuri al-Maliki in Baghdad, according to a statement received by Shafaq News Agency.
The statement indicated that "the two sides stressed the need to work together to improve the economic situation and the lives of Iraqis and Kurds."
The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union pointed out that "the continuing problems between the Kurdistan Region and the central government in Baghdad affected both sides, which requires a quick solution from both sides."
