The Minister of Electricity in the Federal Government, Adel Karim, confirmed that the appointment of metrology readers to the Ministry’s owners is subject to the approval of the 2022 budget
. The Minister of Electricity said, “The book for metrology readers in the Ministry of Finance is awaiting approval of the budget, and if approved, they will be appointed.”
He pointed out that "the ministry has completed all the procedures and sent their names to the finance, but the matter depends on the parliament passing the current year's budget."
