The British Minister of State for Middle East Affairs, Amanda Milling, confirmed that the international community is awaiting the results of the Iraqi government's investigation into the Turkish bombing.

A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry stated that the Foreign Minister received a phone call from the British Minister of State for Middle East Affairs Amanda Milling, where the British Minister expressed her condemnation and denunciation of the bombing of a tourist resort in the city of Zakho in Dohuk governorate, which led to the death and injury of a large number of safe Iraqi civilians. Including women and children.

The statement added, "The current developments and their impact on the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Ankara were discussed," stressing the "necessity of finding a joint dialogue between the two neighboring countries."

Amanda Milling affirmed, "The United Kingdom's commitment to fully support the sovereignty of Iraq in order to ensure its security and stability," noting that "the international community is awaiting the results of the investigation reached by the Iraqi government."
