The British Minister of State for Middle East Affairs, Amanda Milling, confirmed that the international community is awaiting the results of the Iraqi government's investigation into the Turkish bombing.
A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry stated that the Foreign Minister received a phone call from the British Minister of State for Middle East Affairs Amanda Milling, where the British Minister expressed her condemnation and denunciation of the bombing of a tourist resort in the city of Zakho in Dohuk governorate, which led to the death and injury of a large number of safe Iraqi civilians. The statement added, "The current developments and their impact on the bilateral relations between Baghdad and Ankara were discussed," stressing the "necessity of finding a joint dialogue between the two neighboring countries."
