Baghdad did not send salary funding amounts to the region, and the coalition pays $30 million per month to the Peshmerga
Shafaq News/ The Integrity Committee of Kurdistan Parliament expressed, on Thursday, its regret that the federal government did not commit to sending an amount of 200 billion dinars per month to fund the salaries of employees and workers in the public sector in the region.
The head of the committee, Blaine Ismail, said in a press conference held today in Parliament, that the amounts that should have gone to the public treasury, specifically to the Ministry of Finance and Economy to finance salaries, and according to the agreement between Erbil and Baghdad, 200 billion per month, adding, “But unfortunately, in 2022 the federal government sent These amounts are for only two times, a total of 400 billion Iraqi dinars."
He added that the international coalition sends sums of money amounting to 30 million to finance the salaries of the Peshmerga forces by depositing them in an account of the Ministry of Peshmerga Affairs.
