    Economy News / Baghdad
The General Company for Iraqi Airways announced, on Sunday, that a British company had refrained from delivering financial dues to the company of up to 14 million dollars.
The company's general manager, Karim Kazem Hussein, said in a statement, "The staff of Iraqi Airways has started providing aircraft fuel service to Arab and foreign carriers at Baghdad International Airport against the backdrop of the British company Masel's breach of the terms of the contract concluded with our company and its refusal to pay the amounts due, which are estimated at (14)". million dollars from February to July of this year.
He continued, "Despite the continuous demands of the aforementioned company and its warning to pay the sums it owed, it refused to do so," adding that "the national carrier's staff continues to provide service for air carriers at Baghdad International Airport, which provides huge profits for the company that used to go to the benefit of Masel."
