The Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed, on Wednesday, the fate of the salary scale for employees next year.
Committee member Jamal Cougar said in an exclusive interview with Mawazine News, "The current salary scale will remain in the year 2023, stressing that there are steps that the law needs before amending it."
Cougar stated, "The salary scale needs to be amended and then included in the general budget law for the year 2023, and this means that it will remain in its position because there is insufficient time to amend and include it."
Cougar pointed out that "in the event that the new peace is not sent, before the budget law is enacted, this confirms the preservation of the current peace without change."
Cougar pointed out: "We expect that the budget law will be approved in mid-January of next year." Ended 29/R77
