Shafaq News/ The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, stressed on Wednesday the need to strengthen communication and coordination between the legislative and executive authorities, and to submit files to combat corruption, services and unemployment to others.
Al-Mandlawi's media office said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, that the latter met today with Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, and stressed the need to agree to strengthen communication and coordination between the legislative and executive authorities in all files, and to give priority to the files of combating corruption, providing services and eliminating unemployment.
Al-Mandalawi called for the necessity of "striking corruption with an iron hand because it represents a real danger that is eating away at the body of the state and threatening the future of Iraqis," noting that coordination between the legislative and executive authorities would contribute to curbing corruption.
He added that "the House of Representatives, in its current session, is keen to activate its oversight role to eliminate all forms of corruption in the joints of the state."
