    Yes Iraq: Baghdad

Although Iraq’s production of crude oil exceeds the Kurdistan region’s production of oil, and by 8 times what Kurdistan produces, the proportion of the Kurdistan region’s exploitation of associated gas exceeds the proportion of Iraq’s exploitation represented by the Ministry of Oil by exploiting the gas associated with oil production, as the region produces and invests gas alone equivalent to 40 % of what Iraq produces, despite the fact that the share of oil production has less than Iraq's oil production by 8 times.

And the UAE company Dana Gas, which operates in the Kurdistan region, announced that it recorded revenues of $ 161 million in the first nine months of 2022, while gas production in the region increased to 500 million cubic feet per day.
The company said in a report that Dana Gas’s revenues for the first nine months of this year amounted to $161 million, an increase of 24% over the same period last year, and total revenue before interest, taxes and other expenses amounted to $240 million.
The report added that the company has increased gas production in the Kurdistan Region by 11%, so that it is currently producing 500 million cubic feet of gas per day from the Kormore field.
Dr. Patrick Ward, CEO of Dana Gas, said that the company has played an active role in the energy sector in the Middle East, especially in increasing gas production in the Kurdistan region despite the challenges it has faced.
He added that despite many local and global economic challenges, the company was able to increase its revenues and its partners by reducing costs and increasing production levels, in this field, and the rise in oil and gas prices was a major contributor to further growth.
Iraq produces through the Ministry of Oil 1,300 million standard cubic feet, in various fields, out of a production of 4 million barrels per day, in contrast, the region produces 500 cubic feet of production of about 450 thousand barrels per day.
The big difference becomes clear as the region invests all the gas associated with oil production operations, so that its total production of gas constitutes more than 38% of what Iraq produces of gas, despite the fact that Iraq produces 8 times more oil than the Kurdistan region produces.
