Sales of the Central Bank of Iraq fall below 110 million dollars

Shafaq News/ The Central Bank of Iraq's dollar sales decreased, on Sunday, to less than $110 million.
Shafaq News agency reporter stated, "The Central Bank sold today, during its auction for buying and selling the US dollar, 108 million, 737 thousand and 665 dollars, which the bank covered at a basic exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, after these sales reached more than 250 million dollars during the past months." .
Our correspondent added that most of these sales went to enhance balances abroad in the form of transfers and credits, amounting to 88,887,665 dollars, while the rest went in the form of cash sales, which amounted to 19,850,000 dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that 16 banks have met requests to consolidate balances abroad, and 11 banks have met cash requests, in addition to 101 mediation companies.
