Today, Saturday, the Rafidain Bank issued a clarification about the financial balances in Beirut.
The bank stated in a statement, of which Mawazine News received a copy, that it is "commenting on what is being published in some media outlets on the issue of transferring the balances deposited in Lebanese banks and banks operating in the Lebanese arena, to the bank's branch in Beirut."
The statement added, "The bank confirms to the public opinion that it has not disbursed any amount of the aforementioned transfers until now, as the procedures related to transferring funds were stopped by the judiciary, which was decisive in protecting public money."
According to the statement, the bank called on the media to be careful in transmitting information and adopting it from its sources through the official channels of the bank. Ended 29 / H
