Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani received, on Saturday, a number of former wounded people from the demonstrations in Dhi Qar Governorate, along with their families.
Al-Sudani listened to the wounded and their families about their suffering and the obstacles that faced the completion of their treatment files, as he directed to follow up and instruct the concerned authorities to expedite the completion of treatment and allocate the necessary funds, as well as complete the rest of the wounded's transactions.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister stated that "the harm caused to the demonstrators and members of the security forces is harm to Iraq, and the state is aware of the extent of this damage and is concerned with repelling and remedying it."
And he stressed, "the importance of completing investigations into the events that accompanied the demonstrations during the past three years, and the Diwani Order Committee (293) has been reactivated for the victims of the demonstrations and the security forces, in order to establish the rules of justice and guarantee personal and public rights."
The meeting was attended by the vice president of the Martyrs Foundation, and officials in the Ministry of Health and Dhi Qar Governorate. Ended 29 / H
