An informed source revealed that the Central Bank of Iraq directed all banks, electronic payment companies, and exchange companies to use the new dollar price and sell it to the last beneficiary for 1,320 dinars.
The source, who refused to be named, told Al-Iqtisad News that "the central bank sent a letter to banks, electronic payment companies and licensed exchange companies, using the new dollar price of 1,320 dinars."
The Council of Ministers approved the proposal of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank to reduce the value of the dollar from 1450 dinars to 1300 dinars in the general budget.
