The Union of Iraqi and Arab Contractors confirmed today, Thursday, that the Iraqi and Jordanian governments are serious about establishing real partnerships in the private sector, while referring to the conclusion of some agreements between merchants and industrialists during the joint Iraqi-Jordanian business forum.
The head of the federation, Ali Al-Sanafi, told the official agency, followed by (Al-Oula News): “The establishment of a joint Iraqi-Jordanian business forum is important and will reflect positively on the private sector in getting to know manufacturers, exporters, merchants and contracting companies,” referring to “the conclusion of some agreements between merchants and industrialists.” .
He stressed, “The union has been working for four years to consolidate the relationship with agreements between us and the Jordanian Contractors Association.”
He referred to "the proposals put forward, that this forum will be repeated after 3 months in Amman and after that in Baghdad or the rest of the Iraqi provinces."
He added, "The Iraqi and Jordanian governments are serious about making real partnerships in the private sector," stressing, "We, as the private sector, are ready for this process."
Iraq and Jordan seek to complete the industrial city project between the two countries to enhance trade exchange and establish joint projects on the borders.
