Baghdad / Obelisk: A Chinese delegation, headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Relations of the Chinese Communist Party, Zhu Rui, sent, on Saturday, an official invitation to the head of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Hadi al-Amiri, to visit Beijing.
A statement from his office, received by Al-Masalla, stated that Al-Amiri discussed during the meeting bilateral cooperation between Iraq and China and the continuation of diplomatic, economic and trade relations that were based on the common interest of the two countries.
He added that the two sides expressed their desire to develop ways of communication between the Badr Organization and the Chinese Communist Party, and that the importance of the Belt and Road Initiative and the interest of the Iraqi people in this vital and important project, which would link the country to the path of global trade, were emphasized.
According to the statement, the Chinese delegation invited Hadi al-Amiri and the leadership of the Badr Organization to visit Beijing.
