Shafaq News/ The government-run Islamic Bank of Al-Nahrain confirmed, on Sunday, that the marriage advance of 10 million dinars is granted to all of its customers without exception.
The assistant director of the bank, Imad Rasan, said in an interview with Shafaq News agency, "The marriage loan launched by the bank, amounting to 10 million dinars, includes all customers, without restrictions or conditions of residency, their salaries are with the bank."
He added, "The controls require that the customer who makes the loan has an official marriage contract from the court, certified and that it has not passed for more than two years, with a guarantor of a government employee and a five-year payment period."
And he pointed out that "the customer delivers the purchase receipts for the materials to be purchased to the bank, and the latter pays the money to the person concerned directly," noting that "the materials include all furniture and electrical appliances, except for gold jewelry, because there is a legal problem with it."
The Al-Nahrain Islamic Bank was established in 2012, and it is the first Islamic government bank, and during the year 2018 it started granting loans and advances to citizens and employees according to certain mechanisms and controls.
