    [rtl]The Victory Coalition, led by former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, responded to the news about the appointment of one of his sons-in-law in the office of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani, despite his being no more than thirty years old, stressing that "the campaign targets al-Abadi personally, not his son-in-law," noting that "the person in question holds a pharmacy degree from a Jordanian university, and he was appointed to the prime minister's advisory office, not his advice.”

    The following is the text of the statement issued by the Victory Coalition:[/rtl]
    [rtl]The "Victory Coalition" regrets the cheap media campaign targeting Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, and considers it a moral and political inferiority, which is known to the political parties and motives.[/rtl]

    [rtl]And we make it clear to the honorable public opinion that the job description of the intended member of Al-Nasr is “a contract employee, in a capacity as a consultant within the service team at the Prime Minister's Office,” and not “adviser to the Prime Minister,” and the difference is clear between the two positions. He does not have a Ph.D., but rather a pharmacy degree from a well-known Jordanian university. It is a shame to forge publications linking him to the Saddamist, tyrannical Ba'ath regime, as he was only eight years old when the Ba'ath regime collapsed. And that the real target behind this campaign is the person of Mr. Al-Abadi. [/rtl]
