The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities announced, on Sunday, the achievement of advanced completion rates on the land pilgrimage road linking Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
The ministry stated in a statement, which Mawazine News received a copy of, that "the land pilgrimage road project in the province of Najaf, which connects Iraq with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a length of (50) km in two phases, is being implemented under the supervision of the Roads and Bridges Department," noting that "Nasab Completion in the first phase amounted to (71) percent, as the work included earthworks, smashing gravel, asphalt paving, and the construction of bridges of all kinds.
He added, "The second phase of the project, in which completion rates have reached (33) percent, is continuing with the implementation of earthworks and loose gravel, and it is hoped to start paving the road in the month of May." Ended 29 / H
