[rtl]Baghdad / NINA /- The Ministry of Transport announced that the port company has signed three contracts, including the construction of a floating dock in Umm Qasr.
And it stated in a statement: The General Company for Iraqi Ports continues its work in developing its facilities, as a contract was recently signed to build and equip boats for combating marine pollution and fighting fires, in addition to signing a contract for the construction of a floating service dock in Umm Qasr, Basra Governorate.
The statement added: A contract for marine services provided by the ports was signed for the benefit of the Basra Gas Company, and as a result, the General Company for Iraq Ports was registered on the international (Shell) company website as a contractor specialized in transport and storage operations and the provision of marine services, in addition to obtaining a certificate for the marine affairs department in the company. Total quality management, and the creation of several electronic programs that are at the heart of the company's work.
And he continued;The company is currently communicating with one of the specialized companies in programs for controlling marine units and maintenance programs and their timings, and it has presented an integrated presentation on eleven programs./End3[/rtl]
