The Cabinet Secretariat allocates hot numbers for government institutions

The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naim Al-Ghazi, approved the formation of the Supreme Committee concerned with supporting women politically in the upcoming provincial elections, while the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers allocated hot numbers for government institutions within the “UR” portal.
A statement by the General Secretariat stated, “In accordance with Diwani Order No. (23533), the Supreme Committee for Women’s Political Support was formed, under the supervision of Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Farhad Nimatullah Hussein, and headed by the Director General of the Women’s Empowerment Department in the General Secretariat, Yousra Karim Mohsen.”
He added that “the committee includes in its membership the Advisor to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs, the Supreme Judicial Council, the Ministries of Interior and Higher Education, the Independent High Electoral Commission, the High Commission for Human Rights, the Iraqi Media Network, the Iraqi Media Commission, the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate, and the Iraqi Bar Association. the National Security Adviser, representatives of the Iraqi Institute, the Elite Network, the Alliance of Networks to Observe Elections, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and UN Women.
The statement stated, “The committee is responsible for preparing a comprehensive implementation plan that includes programs and activities for the parties participating in it, aimed at enhancing women’s participation in the upcoming provincial elections, and the Women’s Empowerment Department is responsible for ensuring the participation of civil society organizations and international organizations operating in Iraq; To provide the necessary support for the work of the committee in addition to providing secretarial support and following up the implementation of the recommendations in coordination between it and the relevant authorities.
Meanwhile, the National Data Center Department of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers has allocated hot numbers for government institutions within its electronic portal Ur.
Another statement stated that it “continues to provide various services to citizens, and to enhance them with new communication ones as a prominent model in this context, including the e-mail service and the advisory service team, and the support it provides through the use of the Ur electronic portal for government services, as an inference to citizens on how to benefit from the available services.” Starting from the method of entry and filling out registration forms, all the way to identifying the necessary requirements for that.
He pointed out that “the extents of interaction and response of the advisory service team with inquiries received via the free number (5599) after adding it to the list of hot numbers that the citizen can use in necessary or emergency cases, in addition to the civil defense numbers (115), ambulance (112), and emergency services.” (104), National Security (131), and others.
