The spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Haider Majeed, said, “The Minister of Planning and the head of the Iraqi-Saudi Coordination Council, Muhammad Tamim, conveyed, during the start of the council’s work, the desire of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a al-Sudani for the success of the council, which came as a continuation of the previous stages,” explaining that “the council will have A major issue in Iraqi-Saudi relations.
And Majeed continued, "The President of the Council confirmed that there are future steps and tasks in light of the challenges the world is witnessing, most notably the climate challenges and their reflection and treatment through the determination of the leaderships of the two countries, as the Council will be able to take care of all tasks and bilateral relations," pointing out, "Important issues will be discussed." Including electrical interconnection, industrial partnership, investment, agriculture and joint cooperation.
