    The First Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Alia Nassif, considered that the provincial councils were a gateway to corruption, noting that their cancellation is a warning to those who want to repeat this experience.

    Nassif said in a televised interview that "the experience of the provincial councils as a whole was a failure," explaining that the provincial councils were a gateway to corruption, stressing that "work has been done to change some paragraphs of the law to reduce corruption." and quotas and work for personal interest.
