Cocaine found in the White House!

Today, Friday, officials found cocaine in the White House, while they indicated that it was left in an area often used by visitors who tour the departments of the presidential residence.
The White House sought to contain the unusual news after it became clear that the drugs were found Sunday in a building where security is among the most stringent in the world.

Initial reports reported that white powder had been found, which raised fears of renewed chapters in government buildings in Washington finding unspecified powders during searches or receiving suspicious mails, in cases that are treated as possible chemical attacks.

The discovery of the white powder required a short-term evacuation.

But fears of another kind arose after initial analyzes conducted by technicians in the Washington DC fire service concluded that the substance was cocaine.

On Wednesday, the Secret Service that protects Al-Abyad announced that it had "just confirmed that the substance found was cocaine, and our investigation is ongoing."

Biden has made it a priority to restore traditional measures to take care of the headquarters after Donald Trump's term and reports that the Republican president was flushing documents in the toilets.

But the 80-year-old president is haunted by reports revealing the tumultuous life of his son, Hunter, including his documented struggle with severe drug addiction.

The announcement that cocaine had been found in the White House immediately sparked speculation that the president's son might be involved in some way.

And on Wednesday, Trump was quick to comment on the matter by saying, "Does anyone believe that the cocaine that was found in the West Wing of the White House, near the Oval Office, is for consumption by anyone other than Hunter and Joe Biden?"

    - The president and his family were not present -

In a reflection of the prevailing anger, rather than centering questions on NATO and geopolitics, during a meeting between Biden and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, reporters unsuccessfully sought to ask the president questions about the circumstances in which cocaine was found in the White House.

In an effort to put an end to the gossip, the White House declared that, at the very least, circumstantial evidence indicated that the responsibility lay with a visitor, rather than with anyone connected to the Biden family.

White House spokeswoman Karen Jean-Pierre said that the drugs were found in a place usually used by visitors who come to the presidential residence at the invitation of his staff to inspect the western wing, which includes the Oval Office.

Before entering sensitive sections of the complex, visitors are required to leave their mobile phones in lockers, which is where the drugs were found.

"It's a very busy area with many visitors to the White House and the West Wing," Jean-Pierre said. She said that tours of this kind were organized on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays last week.

Later, Jean-Pierre emphasized that the president's family was not in the White House at the time.

"The president and first lady and their family weren't here over the weekend," she said. "They left on Friday and didn't return until yesterday."

Jean-Pierre did not want to answer more questions on this matter, saying, "We are confident that the Secret Service will solve this mystery."

But she said Biden had been briefed and stressed that all White House staff are subject to "strict guidelines, including drug testing."

"We certainly take that very seriously," she added.
