The Chamber of Commerce of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf concluded a memorandum of understanding with the Iranian Trustee Merchants Syndicate, dealing with several types of trade, such as medical, agricultural, textile and construction equipment, in addition to contracting.
The head of the Chamber of Commerce, Haider Al-Athari, said in a statement to “Al-Sabah”: The memorandum was concluded after the meeting that brought together the members of the Chamber’s board of directors and a number of the province’s merchants with a delegation representing the Iranian Trustee Merchants Syndicate, adding that the meeting touched on opening new horizons of cooperation between businessmen from the two friendly countries. , By overcoming temporary commodity trade and shifting towards real partnerships in the fields of industry and production as they are more permanent and successful, in light of the availability of raw materials, capital, manpower and expertise, in addition to the stability of the general situation in the two countries.
He explained that the memorandum stipulated support for building business relations between private sector companies in all fields, and providing information between the two parties about investment opportunities, local agencies and partnerships, in addition to mutual invitations to participate in future exhibitions and forums, expressing his hope that this memorandum will enhance trade relations between Iraq and Iran, By creating new opportunities for economic development in them.
