A statement by the media department of the Council, received by Alsumaria News, stated that "the House of Representatives has completed the first reading of the draft law on the National Intelligence Service."
The House of Representatives also completed, according to the statement, "the first reading of the draft anti-terrorism law."
Earlier in the day, the House of Representatives held its session, chaired by the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, in the presence of 171 deputies, while the session then turned to the presidency of the Second Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah.
