Today, Thursday, economic expert Bassem Jamil Antoine revealed the benefits of Turkey's involvement in the path of development.
Antoine said in a press interview seen by “Takadum” that “there is nothing wrong with including Turkey as a partner in the development path project and for Iraq to exert pressure on it and dominate the situation, especially since the launch of the development path will be from Al-Faw and not from Turkish territory.”
He added, "With Turkey's participation, there will be a common benefit for the two countries, as well as putting pressure on it with the water file and being a close partner because the neighborhood between the two countries serves to establish good neighborly relations."
He continued, "The industrial and residential projects and cities on the banks of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers push Turkey to feed these cities with water."
