Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Commerce announced a statistic on the number of those who updated the electronic ration card data in all governorates.
The Director General of Planning and Follow-up in the Ministry, Ibtihal Hashim Sabet, said, in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency, which was followed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the number of families who reviewed the update sites until the middle of this month in Najaf amounted to 364,594 families, or 97 percent, while 261,096 families have updated." In Dohuk Governorate, where they reached 93 percent.
She added, "About 345,077 families have done the update in Kirkuk Governorate, at a rate of 87 percent, while 175,111 families have updated in Al-Muthanna Governorate, at a rate of 86 percent."
She explained, "Al-Karkh side in Baghdad, the Al-Mutanabi Supply Branch recorded 75,040 families, or 29 percent, while the Sayyid al-Shuhada Supply Branch recorded 115,603 families, or 32 percent. As for the Muhammad Messenger of God Supply Branch, it recorded 66,474 families, or 19 percent."
And she indicated, "The total number of people whose deaths were reported amounted to 65,730, and they were written off, while the number of travelers outside Iraq amounted to 34,107, and they were withheld."
