On Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani chaired a meeting for the service and engineering effort, in the presence of the head of the Board of Advisors in the Prime Minister’s Office.
A statement from the Sudanese media office received by Al-Iqtisad News stated that, “During the meeting, the entire work plan for 2023 and its projects were studied, in light of the implementation rates and financial allocations for each service sector or ministry.”
Al-Sudani praised “the efforts made to serve poor areas,” stressing “the importance of not expanding high-cost projects, and emphasizing the completion of projects that are under implementation.”
The statement added, "The meeting discussed the teams' continued provision of services in their workspace, within unserved residential areas and transforming them into residential neighborhoods with integrated services according to the allocated budget."
He stressed, “The meeting will continue to seek assistance and contract with the consulting office of the Engineers Syndicate, which will provide price and technical statements, provide advice, and prepare and modify designs.”
