Today, Monday (September 25, 2023), Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani supervised the second simulation process for the local elections.
The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement received by "Baghdad Today" that Al-Sudani "supervised the second simulation process for the upcoming provincial council elections, which was organized by the Independent High Electoral Commission."
Earlier, the Director of Procedures and Training at the Commission, Dawoud Salman, told the official news agency, “The Commission intends to conduct four simulation operations,” in preparation for running in the local elections.
