The Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council, Hassan Abdullah Al-Ghanim, arrived today, Wednesday, in the capital, Baghdad.
A statement from the Office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, received by the Maalouma Agency, stated that “President of the Arab Parliamentary Union/Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, received today the Speaker of the Qatari Shura Council, Hassan Abdullah Al-Ghanim.”
He added, "The visit came to participate in the thirty-fifth emergency conference of the Arab Parliamentary Union in Baghdad on developments in the situation in Gaza." Ended/25
