The Muthanna Investment Authority announced the start of trial operation of a laboratory specialized in the field of “construction chemicals,” which will enter actual operation early next year with a production capacity of 30,000 tons annually at the Al-Najmi site within the Muthanna Governorate.
The head of the authority, Adel Al-Yasiri, said in a statement, “The Uruk factory, which manufactures raw materials for concrete additives and supplies them inside Iraq, was established in cooperation between (the Chinese Moho Company specializing in the field of chemicals and Al-Diyar Builders Trading and Contracting Company) to supply this technology inside Iraq.”
He added, "This factory will provide concrete additives, which today play a vital role in providing solutions to many construction problems, and will contribute to transferring construction technology to new levels of modern design innovations that were a dream in the past few decades," stressing that "this factory will make a leap." In construction engineering, it has currently reached advanced stages.”
