    {Local: Al-Furat News} The Integrity Commission announced today, Saturday, that it had monitored the failure to prepare materials for an electricity project costing (16) billion dinars in Dhi Qar.
    The Authority’s Investigations Department stated in a statement received by {Al-Furat News} that it “revealed the failure to prepare reserve materials for an electricity project costing approximately (16) billion dinars in Dhi Qar Governorate, in addition to the arrest of the director of the office of the director of the municipality of Nasiriyah, and the director of real estate registration in Preservation by exploiting his position.”
    The department reported, according to the statement, that “the staff of the Dhi Qar Investigation Office revealed the receipt of the Abraj (Kv132) general downstream line project - Al-Fuhud Station 2, which was implemented by a local company for the benefit of the Southwest Networks Directorate in the governorate, at a cost of (15,995,600,000) billion dinars, despite the fact that materials were not prepared.” A reserve amounting to (956,948,000) million dinars within the technical inspection paragraphs, or deducting its value, pointing out that the project funded by the Regional Development Account was finally received without forming a receiving committee.”
    She pointed out “the implementation of an arrest warrant issued against the director of the Nasiriyah Municipality Director’s Office, against the backdrop of his issuing receipts for transactions promoting land plots for the segment of workers in violation of the law, which were promoted after the governor’s decision to stop the promotion,” noting that “(4,500) transactions were seized in the Property Division in The Directorate and the filing records in the municipality director’s office, confirming the issuance of an arrest warrant against the fugitive accused, the worker’s segment official, and in a separate operation, (143) forged ownership letters were seized in the municipality’s issued unit, in addition to monitoring the loss and theft of (13) land plot allocation transactions.” 
    She added, “The office staff who moved to the Real Estate Registration Directorate observed that the Real Estate Registration Director was exploiting his position and promoting the transaction of allocating a plot of land to him in violation of the regulations, alerting to the occurrence of tampering and forgery in official books, as he had not previously benefited, contrary to the truth,” noting “the judge’s issuance The competent investigation issued a summons order against the employees responsible for the manager’s statement of lack of benefit.”
