    Information/Baghdad..
The Independent High Electoral Commission revealed, on Thursday, the installation of 100,000 cameras at polling stations for the provincial council elections scheduled for next December 18.
A member of the House of Representatives, Bassem Al-Gharibawi, said in an interview followed by Al-Maalouma, that “the Parliament’s agenda in the recent sessions is almost devoid of important laws and draft laws that touch what the people need.”
He added, "There are observations on this aspect, and objections have been raised by representatives more than once in this regard," adding that "the matter is related to the issue of political consensus."
He pointed out, "The legislative term of Parliament for this session will end on the ninth of this month (November), and therefore it is natural for Parliament to take its legislative recess."
Yesterday, Wednesday, the propaganda campaign for candidates in the provincial council elections scheduled for next December 18 was launched, at a time when dozens of members of the House of Representatives submitted a request to impose “compulsory leave” on candidates for the upcoming elections, and while the House is heading to enter a legislative recess of approximately two months.
