On Thursday, the head of the National Investment Authority, Haider Makiya, directed the suspension of work on the water measuring meters of the Baghdad Department in Bismaya and the adoption of the meters of the Korean “Hanwha” company .
A statement by the authority, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, stated that “Makiya directed that the electronic water measuring meters of the Baghdad Water Department for residential units in Bismaya be stopped and that the meters implemented by the Korean Hanwha Company be approved. ”
The statement added, “The Authority is keen to maintain the infrastructure implemented by Hanwa Company, prevent waste of public money, and provide the best services that suit the reality and capabilities of the citizens living in the complex .”
