Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Commerce set a period for citizens to receive their share of food supplies from the agent, and to withdraw them from the latter if the period is exceeded.
The Director General of the Ministry’s Commercial and Financial Control Department, Riyad Al-Moussawi, said, “The Minister of Commerce directed the follow-up of food agents’ shops,” noting that “there is an accumulation of materials in some stores as a result of citizens not receiving them.”
He added, "Some stores do not follow the regular methods for storing materials, which leads to them being damaged and delivered to the citizen in a manner different from what they were in the ministry's stores."
Al-Moussawi called on citizens to “visit the agent and receive the food supplies within a period of 30 days, as after this period the ministry will return the materials to its stores,” stressing that “the instructions stipulate that if the citizen does not receive the food supplies within a period of one month, they will be withdrawn from the agent.” ".
