    Today, Monday (December 11, 2023), the Central Bank’s sales amounted to more than $220 million during its auction to buy and sell the US dollar.
    According to the bank’s list, its total sales today amounted to 220 million and 562 thousand and 584 dollars, which the bank covered at a base exchange rate of 1,305 dinars per dollar for documentary credits and international settlements for electronic cards, at a rate of 1,310 dinars per dollar for external transfers, and at a rate of 1,310 dinars per dollar in cash.
    According to the table provided to “Baghdad Today,” “most of the dollar sales went to strengthen balances abroad in the form of (remittances, credits), amounting to 204 million and 502 thousand and 584 dollars, while the rest, amounting to 16 million and 60 thousand dollars, went in the form of cash sales.” ".
