The Iraqi Drilling Company announced today, Wednesday, the completion of the reclamation of two oil wells in Kirkuk.
A statement from the Ministry of Oil, received by Al-Iqtisad News, stated that “the technical and engineering personnel of the Iraqi Drilling Company completed the reclamation of two oil wells in the Khabbaz and Jambur fields.”
He explained, "The reclamation of the Khabbaz/45 well was carried out using the IDC 206 drilling rig as part of the nine-well reclamation project for the North Oil Company in the Khabbaz oil field," indicating that "the company completed the reclamation of the Jambour/69 well using the IDC 209 drilling rig for the North Oil Company." Also within the project to reclaim 4 wells in the northern Jambur field.
He added, "Reclamation operations are being carried out for oil wells that were previously drilled, with the aim of activating the oil-producing layers and changing the production areas by lowering the rubber insulators."
