Today, Tuesday, the Council of Ministers decided to allocate 3 billion dinars to the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement, "The Council of Ministers decided today to allocate (3) billion dinars to the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate."
He added, "This came to cover the expenses of treating elderly, sick, and pioneer journalists and to support their social solidarity, as well as to provide for and treat the families of the martyrs of the press, whose number exceeds (500) martyrs."
