The Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, set today, Tuesday, the date for Siemens to complete the maintenance work of power stations.
The Ministry stated in a statement received by Mawazine News, “Minister of Electricity, Ziad Ali Fadel, discussed with the experts of the German company Siemens the progress of work in energy production projects and a review of the maintenance programs carried out by the company in accordance with the contents of the contract concluded between the two parties.”
The Minister stressed "the necessity of completing the work with high efficiency and within the specified time limits in order to provide stable and reliable equipment for citizens during the coming summer."
Regarding the issue of ongoing maintenance on the production plants, the team of experts confirmed that “the company will continue maintenance work and rehabilitate the production units to benefit from their maximum generating capacity,” pointing out that “this work will be completed before next summer.”
