    [size=45]The Ministry of Construction and Housing confirmed that the year 2024 will witness the completion of 90 percent of the projects of the first traffic jam package, while indicating that Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani launched a project to construct a bridge parallel to the exchange and organize the Buratha intersection.[/size]
    [size=45]Director General of the Roads and Bridges Department in the Ministry, Hussein Jassim, said, “The year 2024 will indeed be the year of achievements, as the government called it, as it began with the completion of the (Faiq Hassan) bridge at the Fine Arts Intersection, and we will follow it with other projects from the first package that was launched at the beginning of 2023, which set ceilings A timeframe for it to enter service is in the year 2024.[/size]
    [size=45]He added, “The Fine Arts Bridge was completed in half the required time and within a maximum of 104 days, to be the first fruit in the projects to relieve traffic congestion adopted by the government and launched by the Prime Minister in March 2023.”[/size]
    [size=45]Jassim pointed out, “Among our plans set for this year are the completion of most of the projects starting from the first quarter of this year, and the remainder of them will be completed successively according to the required contractual period,” noting that “there are 14 projects in which work will continue on the ground after the completion of the bridge.” Fine Arts, which entered the service.”[/size]
    [size=45]He continued, “We are awaiting the launch of the 15th project to remove bottlenecks at the beginning of next February,” pointing out that “the completion rates of these projects vary, as some of them have reached 80 percent and will be opened by next April.”[/size]

    [size=45]He stated, “The government did not stop at launching this package,” explaining, “When the Prime Minister opened the Fine Arts Bridge, he launched another project in the same axis, which is developing the subsequent intersection and the Sarafiya intersection, constructing another bridge parallel to the current Sarafiya Bridge, organizing the Buratha intersection, and widening the road extending to Al-Shaljiya intersection.[/size]
    [size=45]He explained, “The Safi Al-Din Al-Hilli axis extending from Al-Mustansiriya intersection at Muhammad Al-Qasim Road to Al-Shaljiya intersection at Al-Muthanna Airport will be passable without any intersection at ground levels.”[/size]
