    Alsumaria news/Baghdad

    Prime
Minister Nouri al-Maliki, Friday, that Iraq was able to come out and
play from its collapse and its regional and international, saying that
State to be reckoned with after becoming on the sidelines.

    Al-Maliki
said in his Festival of sovereignty and national reconciliation which
took place today in Baghdad and was attended by the Sumerian "news",
that "Iraq could quickly to come out and play from its collapse, and its
regional and international", stating that "regained much lost in the
time of the former regime or in a time of terrorism and occupation."

    Al-Maliki
said that "the road still needs considerable effort from all of us to
build and I mean in this human society building, partnership, and not
only in the construction of buildings and the purchase of arms and
army," he said, adding that "Iraq has become a nation to be reckoned
with after the State on the margins of the small and large States".

    Al-Maliki
noted that "divisive and some differences that still remain planted to
produce sterile and bears fruit is not sectarian used one so who planted
them," all lost and not used only the enemies of Iraq and the warlords
    and merchants. "

Iraq witnessed in 2006 and 2007, violence
continued until in the end of 2008 after the Iraqi Government announced a
security plan launched by the law enforcement plan, which left
thousands dead, the wounded and tens of thousands of Iraqis to Syria and
Jordan and the destruction of infrastructure in the country.

    Iraqi
relations with the States of the region have experienced crises
following the events of 2003 and subsequent deterioration in the
political and security situation reflected negatively on the country's
relations with some States, Iraq began to rise again in its external
relations, especially after the opening to the Arab world through the
willingness of some States to invest in Iraq.
