Al-Nahrain issues instructions for financing projects for health professionals

Al-Nahrain Islamic Bank announced yesterday, Wednesday, the issuance of instructions for financing projects for people in health professions, which comes within the package of banking facilities it provides to support job opportunities
in this sector.
A statement by the Ministry of Finance stated, “Al-Nahrain Islamic Bank issued instructions to finance projects for people with health professions within the banking facilities package, which included that the age of the financing applicant must not be less than (18 years) for those not appointed in the departments of the Ministry of Health, and if the financing applicant is an employee and is still in service. The guarantee will be his monthly salary up to (15) million dinars, and if it exceeds that, a guarantor will be provided, and if he is not an employee, a guarantor will be provided, which stipulates that the repayment period for the financing applicant and his guarantor be commensurate with the age of retirement.
He added, “The applicant for financing must provide one or more guarantors from employees of state departments, provided that half of the net salary is equivalent to twice the monthly installment or more, and the first installment is due after (30 days) from the date of receiving the financing amount.”
He pointed out that “the bank has specified the categories included in the financing, including employees of state departments appointed in the Ministry of Health and its departments, clients with health professions licensed to practice work from a specialized authority, and employees who work in the field of national health whose salaries are with the bank, as well as graduates who hold an identity card with a specialty.” Medical and not appointed or approved for obtaining
a professional certificate.
He continued, “The applicant for funding must submit an application attached to a summary of the project, indicating its type (medical clinic, dental clinic, laboratory, physical therapy clinic, radiology and ultrasound clinic, nurse, etc.), along with a description of the equipment and materials to be purchased, specifying the type, quantity, specifications, and prices, and it represents an initial offer.” The total amount of financing required, stamped with the stamp of one of the specialized companies that provides the required supplies.
The bank noted that “those who wish to apply and meet the conditions referred to can visit one of the bank’s branches in Baghdad and the governorates in order to learn about the application mechanism and answer inquiries regarding Murabaha.”
