Immigration coordinates the provision of health and educational services in areas of return

The Ministry of Immigration and Displacement coordinated with the ministries and competent authorities to provide health and educational services in the areas of return within the liberated governorates to facilitate the voluntary return of displaced families.
The ministry’s official spokesman, Ali Abbas Jhakir, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: His ministry coordinated with the ministries of education and health, in addition to other specialized institutions, to provide the required services for displaced families in the areas of return in the liberated governorates, with the aim of closing the camps in the region in accordance with the national plan for the return of the displaced, which It was announced at the end of 2023, and was launched last month.
He stated that his ministry is making unremitting efforts to provide all the requirements of life in the areas of return, to facilitate voluntary return, stressing that it is not limited to the local side or the federal government, but rather there is coordination with international organizations interested in the affairs of the displaced.
In the same context, Jhakir revealed that his ministry coordinated last week with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), with the aim of implementing legal protection programs and income-generating projects for returning displaced persons and implementing capacity-building activities to support the ministry’s care groups in areas of return, including those targeted by the national plan for voluntary return, which Launched recently.
