A statement from Al-Araji’s office received by Al-Sumaria News stated that the latter “received in his office today a delegation representing the NATO Council, which included the ambassadors of Germany, the Netherlands, and Italy in the alliance, in the presence of the ambassador of the NATO mission in Iraq, Ronald Solemnaz.”

The meeting discussed "developing cooperation relations between Iraq and NATO, especially in the field of training and developing the capabilities of Iraqi forces."

Al-Araji stressed, "Iraq's relationship with NATO is an important, fundamental, and strategic relationship that has included years of joint cooperation and work with the Ministries of Defense and Interior, praising the growing relationship with the alliance and the training capabilities it has provided to raise the capabilities of the Iraqi forces."

He also pointed out that "Iraq is looking forward to more joint cooperation between the NATO mission and the Iraqi Ministries of Defense and Interior, praising at the same time the relationship with the European Union Advisory Mission, stressing Iraq's endeavor to establish a long-term relationship between the two sides."

He explained, "Ending the mission of the international coalition will not affect the relationship with the NATO mission in Iraq, pointing out that Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani has directed that all the requirements of the security services be met, indicating that Iraq's demand to end the mission of the international coalition came after the end of the justifications for its existence." .

Regarding the situation in the Gaza Strip, Al-Araji stated, “What is happening in Gaza is the genocide of the Palestinian people and revenge, and the international community must end this aggression.”

Al-Araji also stressed, "Iraq has balanced relations with everyone, especially with Iran and the United States of America, noting that Iraq's policy has always followed the principle of dialogue, diplomacy, and mutual respect between countries."
