Today, Wednesday, the Federal Supreme Court (the highest judicial authority in Iraq) decided to postpone the pleading date regarding the Federal Council of Ministers’ decision to set the prices of the white oil product in the Kurdistan Region.
In a public session held earlier today at its headquarters in Baghdad, the court heard the statements of the parties to the case.
The President of the Federal Court, Judge Jassim Muhammad Al-Amiri, decided to postpone the pleading date to the 31st of March for the purpose of giving the representative of the Petroleum Products Distribution Company and the representative of the Federal Ministry of Oil to provide an answer regarding the case.
