    [size=45]On Tuesday, the Real Estate Registration Department began issuing title deeds for 14,000 housing units in 11 complexes within the districts of “Qayrawan, Sinuni, and Al-Qahtaniyah,” affiliated with Sinjar District, west of Nineveh. The Nineveh government has begun implementing Cabinet Resolution No. (364), which includes the transfer of land ownership. From state property to its residents, after 49 years of demands. For 5 decades, the Iraqi government has divided the lands and granted the people of the region the right to build housing units there, provided that the lands remain the property of the state.[/size]
    [size=45]Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil - Governor of Nineveh, in a press conference:
    We began issuing the first registration copy of government lands occupied by Yazidis and Arabs in 49 years.[/size]
    [size=45]Under the direct direction of the Prime Minister, we will transfer ownership of the lands in the Sinjar complexes, from state properties belonging to the Ministries of Agriculture and Municipalities, to the beneficiaries who occupy them.[/size]
    [size=45]The order includes 14 thousand housing units in 11 complexes, distributed as follows: 3 complexes in Al-Qahtaniyah, 6 complexes in Sinuni, 2 complexes in Kairouan.[/size]
    [size=45]This measure comes in implementation of Cabinet Resolution 364, and will have a major positive impact on the stability of the region and the return of displaced people to it.[/size]
