    Today, Thursday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani issued directives during the sixth meeting of the Supreme Committee for the Development Road.
    The Prime Minister’s media office stated in a statement received by “Al-Iqtisad News” that “Al-Sudani chaired the sixth meeting of the Supreme Committee for the Development Road, during which the latest executive steps were followed up and the procedures related to the project were continued, and ways to resolve the controls and instructions related to customs, tax and transit tariffs were discussed.” Within the project management and operation system.
    He explained, "The meeting witnessed discussion of the tasks of the diplomatic delegation that will visit the European Union countries in coordination with the Turkish side, within the route of the stations related to the project. The current position of expropriations related to the route of the road was also reviewed, and the removal of any technical or legal conflicts from all sections was ensured."
    During the meeting, he stressed, "the importance of continuous coordination between the relevant authorities, the ministries, relevant formations, and the governorates, on the path of the road, and that these parties as a whole deal with the development road project as a special priority for the Iraqi economy, and that they work to reduce time, overcome routine obstacles, and overcome obstacles."
    Prime Minister Sabiq renewed his directives “to reject any case of procrastination or delay, given the exceptional importance posed by the development path, its pivotal position and connection to all development economic sectors, and the government’s plans to achieve a comprehensive future economic renaissance.”
    The meeting reviewed the progress rates achieved in the Grand Al-Faw Port project, its five berths, and the conformity of the work progress with the implementation schedule.
