[rtl]Basra / NINA / The local government of Basra discussed with the (BP) oil company operating in the Rumaila oil field, today, Wednesday, a plan for social benefit projects.
The First Deputy Governor, Zaid Al-Amarah, said in a statement: “We held a meeting with the Social Benefits and Relations Officer at BP Oil Company, Chris Boyd, to discuss the plan for social benefits projects,” pointing to the importance of implementing vital projects that serve citizens in the health, education, and infrastructure sectors. Infrastructure and establishing an institute for training graduates and supplying it with experts to train and qualify cadres to hone the trainees’ skills, give them practical experience, and qualify them to place them in foreign companies.”
He added: “We stressed to the company official the importance of accelerating the implementation of projects that meet all technical controls to serve the people of Basra.”
