Kurdistan Regional Government discusses the implementation of the budget with the federal government
The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the Kurdistan Regional Government will discuss the mechanisms of implementing the federal budget law for the year 2021 with the federal government.
Representative Shirwan Mirza, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, said during a special statement to PUKmedia : The Ministry of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Regional Government will discuss the mechanisms for the delivery of oil imports with the Ministry of Oil and officials in the federal government.
He added: The Ministry of Finance and the Office of Financial Supervision in the Kurdistan Regional Government will settle financial dues with the Ministry of Finance and the Office of Financial Supervision in the federal government.
He continued: Technical delegations will visit Baghdad to discuss these issues and resolve them between the two sides because the budget law will be implemented retroactively and it needs to know the size of the financial dues for each government during the past months of this year.
The House of Representatives voted in its forty-sixth session, which was held under the chairmanship of Muhammad al-Halbousi, Speaker of Parliament, on Wednesday 3/31/2021, and in the presence of 215 deputies, on the Federal Budget Law for 2021.
