    Defense Minister to Belgium to attend a counter-conference "Daash"

    announced that the Iraqi Ministry of Defense to leave its minister Khaled al-Obeidi to Belgium to attend on combating "Daash" international conference, which is attended by more than 60 defense secretary from around the world participating in the international coalition to fight the terrorist organizations.
    The Defense Ministry said in a statement that "al-Obeidi will deliver a speech at the International Conference which shows that Iraq is fighting terrorism on behalf of the whole world, as well as the great victories achieved by the Iraqi forces against the terrorist organizations."
    The statement added that "the defense minister will be shown as well as the role of the Alliance in support of Iraqi forces," reiterated Iraq's request to "increase training for its forces and provide the necessary weapons to help eliminate the terrorist organizations and equipment." (End)
